A small idea that became in a BIG PROJECT

In 1942 American School was founded by Anne Jenkins so they could give education to the Americans that lived in Mexico. Then in 1914, the school opened formally. In the summer of 1945 Profesor, Stephen Stockmeyer was called to be the principal of the school.  In 1946 the students go up to 150 students that is why they needed to go to another place that needed to be bigger. The student population keeps growing.  Later Dr.  John Dobson was called. for the. education department of UDLAP and Dr. Chafee becomes the new principal. Between 1980 and 2000 we started the building located in Las Animas by building new classrooms and remaking some areas. In 2015 the new building of the high school was inaugurated.
